How to Suggest Plumeria Corrections
Use corrections when an existing cultivar record appears incomplete, confusing, duplicated, or wrong. Suggestions go to the review team first.
Common corrections
- AKA/name issue or spelling variation.
- Parentage, originator, introducer, or source note.
- Flower color, size, form, fragrance, growth habit, or leaf traits.
- Wrong photo, missing photo credit, or photo context update.
What makes a strong suggestion
- State exactly what should change.
- Include your source or observation notes.
- Explain whether it is first-hand experience, nursery information, registration data, or a comparison clue.
- Use broad region examples such as South Florida, East Texas, Hawaii, or Queensland when location context helps.
What stays private
Public records may show approved cultivar details, broad region or growing context, and photographer credit. Email addresses, account details, exact private contact information, sensitive location details, and internal verifier notes are kept for review and are not intended for public display.
A correction is not published automatically. It becomes part of the review queue so the record can be improved carefully.
