Description

Plumeria Don is a Florida Colors Nursery cultivar named for Don Herron. Preserved source notes describe 4-inch bright pink-and-white flowers with very heavy texture, a medium tree, and a classic frangipani fragrance with spice and jasmine character; the mother tree is reported lost. Tex Norwood's approved archive photographs document the cultivar in East Texas in 2009 and South Florida in 2022, showing broad cream-white petals with strong pink-to-red margins, a yellow-orange center, rounded tips, and heavy overlap. This record was separated from Irma Bryan after a mixed gallery and title were discovered, preserving both cultivars as distinct records.
