Season / temperature responseJungle Jack's trusted source reports that heat and sunlight shift Karma from apricot through blood-orange and mango to vibrant ruby. The approved photos also document paler yellow-orange flowers under low-light or cool conditions.
Sun exposure responseTrusted source and labeled greenhouse photos show that stronger sun deepens the orange, ruby, and red coloration, while no direct sun can produce a much paler apricot-yellow flower.

History / StoryJungle Jack's source description: As soon as we saw this for the first time we knew something special was happening. These flowers simply glow and the clusters are among the densest of any of our plumerias. A truly spectacular bloom; my dad and I rate it as one of our top 2-3 after decades of selective breeding. Huge, thick 4-5", blood-orange/mango color with extensive veins radiating from a deep red, almost black, heart. Heat and sunlight levels will vary the rich coloration from apricot to vibrant ruby to strong orange. Handles heat and sun very well. Great strong fragrance.
