Description

Dragon Tears is a Jungle Jack cultivar distinguished by large 3- to 4-inch yellow-and-white flowers whose red pagoda-like tips twist and recurve. Every bloom can look different; approved source photos range from pale yellow-white to richly streaked red, orange, and pink. Jungle Jack reports that warmer weather brings out brilliant red-orange streaks, while very hot climates favor semi-shade. The medium-to-tall tree carries showy flower clusters and a strong tuberose-like fragrance, making its changing color, twisted star-like form, and scent especially recognizable.
