Identification limits
The only true way to positively identify a plumeria would be DNA, which is not available yet for this project. Plumeria Database helps narrow possible matches by comparing known cultivars with photos, history, and full trait records.
Not the official registry
Plumeria Database may reference registration information, but The Plumeria Society of America, Inc. remains the official source for PSA registration information.
Reference Use
Information is provided for education, comparison, and research. Records may contain uncertain, incomplete, or evolving information until reviewed and improved.
Submissions
By submitting corrections, descriptions, photos, or notes, you confirm that you have the right to submit them and that the information is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
Photo Rights
Photo submissions grant permission for Plumeria Database to use, crop, resize, adjust, display, and include the photo in website or publication materials related to the database.
Verifier Conduct
Approved verifiers should make suggestions respectfully, cite sources when available, and treat uncertain records as review items rather than confirmed facts.
Copyright
Do not copy, upload, or submit photos or text that you do not own or have permission to use. If you believe content needs correction or removal, contact us.
Changes
Site content, records, access rules, and these terms may be updated as the database grows and review workflows improve.
